Leaders of Vietnamese universities and research institutes attend the 27th JEMS Program at JINR

From May 19-23, 2025, the JINR organized the 27th International JEMS Internship Program for scientific experts and key personnel from various countries, including Vietnam. The Vietnamese delegation participating in this year’s JEMS program consisted of 8 experts: Prof. Nguyen The Toan (VNU University of Science), Prof. Nguyen Van Thai (Hanoi University of Science and Technology), Dr. Pham Van Duong (Institute of Physics, VAST). Along with representatives from the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM): Dr. Pham Kim Long, Dr. Le Ngoc Thiem, MSc. Nguyen Tuan Anh, MSc. Le Thi Hai Yen, MSc. Tran Thi Hong Thai. The entire cost for the Vietnamese delegation’s participation in the JEMS program was sponsored by the fund of the Vietnamese Government’s Plenipotentiary Representative at JINR.

The JEMS program is designed to help participants gain an overview of JINR’s scientific research activities, international cooperation, and training in a short period. Participants will tour the infrastructure, research equipment, and become familiar with research programs of laboratories at JINR, thereby promoting connectivity and international scientific cooperation and training activities.
