Within the framework of the Council of Plenipotentiary Representatives session, Vice President Tran Tuan Anh – the Plenipotentiary Representative of Vietnam to JINR – and his delegation held a working meeting with the Vietnamese research team currently working at the Institute.
During the meeting, the Plenipotentiary Representative received comprehensive reports on the research progress and the daily lives of the staff. He provided key strategic directives aimed at enhancing the group’s operational efficiency and fostering a core team of researchers in nuclear science and its applications. Furthermore, he encouraged young scientists to actively engage in JINR’s major international projects. Prof. Tran Tuan Anh particularly emphasized the vital role of maintaining close connections with domestic institutions to promote international cooperation and contribute to the nation’s scientific development.
A highlight of the gathering was the Awards Ceremony honoring individuals for their outstanding research achievements and contributions to Vietnam’s activities at JINR. This year, the awards were presented to three researchers:
- First Prize: Nguyen Thanh Nghiem (FLNP).
- Second Prize: Nguyen Vu Minh Trung (DLNP).
- Third Prize: Vu Duc Cong (DLNP).
Additionally, the delegation recognized Truong Hoai Bao Phi (DLNP) and Nguyen Bao Ngoc (LRB) for their active contributions to the group’s collective activities. These achievements reflect the relentless efforts and the increasing sense of responsibility of the young Vietnamese intellectuals in an international academic environment.
